

Lillian was born in York, Nebraska on July 15, 1932. She was the seventh and last child born to Ervin and Winnie Warthen. She moved to California on December 10, 1943 when she was eleven years old. She went to Clark Junior High and Glendale High School where she was in the glee club, girl scouts and studied cosmetology. On June 25, 1949 she married Edward Campbell. They had 6 children. During her life, she was a girl scout leader, a boy scout den mother and telephone chairman for the P.T.A. She was a gold star sister as her brother Gerald Warthen was killed in World War II. She belonged to the several clubs including Glendale Moose, Pasadena Elks, Italian Catholic Federation and the La Canada YMCA. She enjoyed dancing, going to casinos, horse racing and Irish music. She was always close to her only sister Gracie. Lillian was preceded in death by her husband Edward and son Dion. She is survived by her children Teresa, Bruce, Paul, Leslie and Heather. She leaves behind her eleven grandchildren and eight great grandchildren. She will be dearly missed by all her family and friends.
A funeral service for Lillian will be held Monday, April 7, 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at Pierce Brothers Valhalla, 10621 Victory Blvd, North Hollywood, CA 91606. Following the funeral service will be a graveside service from 11:30 AM to 12:00 PM at Pierce Brothers Valhalla Memorial Park and Mortuary, 10621 Victory Blvd, Los Angeles, CA 91606.
