Thomas was predeceased in death by his parents Lamar Carter Moore and Louise Carroll Moore, brothers Louie Wayne Moore, and Robert B. Moore.
He is survived by his loving wife of 65 years Zelda Pace Moore, beloved daughter Nancy Moore Huggins and son-in-law Jody S Huggins, and cherished grandsons Tanner Colt Huggins, and Jesse Samuel Huggins (Katherine Boston) all of Hanahan, SC. and many nieces and nephews.
He was a 60 year member of the North Charleston Hamilton Masonic Lodge #332, 1085 E. Montague Ave., North Charleston, SC; He was a current member of Highland Park Baptist Church, and former member of First Baptist Church of Bonneau, SC.
He served in the United States Air Force, and retired from the Charleston Naval Shipyard. He was an avid lover of golf, and enjoyed many years of traveling to Toccoa, Ga., to visit his late Aunt Leona Whiten, and spend time traveling to golf courses across the states with his late Uncle Joe Whiten, delivering Golf Carts to the various courses, and then playing a round of golf. He was the recipient of many golf awards over the years. He was always willing to lend a helping hand to many loving friends and neighbors.
A visitation will be held from 12 noon until the life well celebrated service at 1:30 pm at Highland Park Baptist Church, 6211 Murray Ave., Hanahan, SC on Tuesday March 22, 2022. Committal prayers to follow at Carolina Memorial Park, 7113 Rivers Ave., N. Charleston, SC. with Air Force Military Honors.
