Dr. Rosie was my daughter's physician.  She was so lovely with her and always took the time to talk to us about any problems.  We often talk about her and always miss her when we go to the doctor's.

My last visit to Beaufort was so wonderful, I was able to introduce my son to Rosie and Dr.V. We enjoyed a beautiful dinner and of course Rosie was late because she was taking the kids to a game💗 always such an amazing Mama. I remember walking through Habersham on our way to dinner I was able to have such a lovely chat with Rosie catching up on life! I have been blessed to know her and call her my friend! 

I worked for Dr.V and Rosie for almost 10 years. They always treated me like family and Rosie always extended an invitation to every holiday to me which meant a lot since I was alone in BFT. They became my family and I was so blessed that Rosie and Dr.V made it all the way to New Hampshire to celebrate my wedding day! I will forever be grateful for the love and friendship the Vega Family has given me! Sweet Rosie we love you and you will forever be remembered and adored💗🙏🏽

I met Ro when we were 11 years old at Eastwood Knolls in El Paso. We became fast friends and were inseparable throughout junior high and high school. 
She was my sounding board through those difficult years, and never tired of listening to my endless teenage drama.

We called each other "Friend" in place of our names, and used to write each other endless notes, which we folded in elaborate configurations, between classes. We ate lunch together, walked home together, communicated in our own made up language, and if we weren't at each other's houses, we were chatting on the phone. 

We both left El Paso after graduation, for college in San Antonio. We were both nervous, but excited to start our "adult" lives. She went to UIW while I was at OLLU. She was nose to the grindstone, but I used to take the bus to see her, and would convince her that it was Friday and it was ok to take a break from studying. 

After graduation, our friendship continued, even though life took us in different directions. She went to Boston for Med School and I stayed in San Antonio for Grad School. I was in her wedding when she married Luis and began a whole different chapter in her life. She flourished as a doctor, wife and mother. Things got busy to say the least and life got in the way, but even though we didn't see each other often, my love for her and her family never wavered. She was my best friend, and I will miss her dearly. 

Ro you put up a good fight and I am glad you are finally free from pain. Rest in Peace Friend. I love you.
