Robert Allen Strobel Sr.

Robert Allen Strobel Sr., 68, of North Charleston, husband of Linda Baker Strobel, went to be with the Lord Wednesday, May 13, 2015. The relatives and friends of Robert A. Strobel Sr. are invited to attend his funeral services on Saturday, May 16, 2015 at 11:00 a.m. at CAROLINA MEMORIAL FUNERAL HOME. Burial will follow at Carolina Memorial Park. The family will receive friends Friday evening from 5:30 until 7:30 p.m. at the funeral home. Robert was born December 23, 1946 in Charleston, SC, son of the late John P. Strobel Sr. and Johnnie Mae Galloway Strobel. He was a maintenance supervisor at Westvaco with 38 years of service and a member of Riverbluff Church. He enjoyed hunting, fishing, playing golf, and spending time with his family. His legacy is his encouraging spirit and positive outlook on life. He is survived by his wife of 47 years, Linda B. Strobel; daughters Mary Strobel Seay (Jamie) and Julie Strobel Wiand (Timmy), both of North Charleston; son Robert Allen Strobel Jr. of North Charleston; sister Ann Williams (Oscar) of Inman, SC.; grandchildren Glenn Bundrick Jr. (Shelby), Amber Bundrick, Tyler Wiand, Courteney Wiand, Tommy Wiand; and great-grandchildren Nolan Bundrick, Mason Bundrick and Cali Brown.
