Reba, know to many as Reba or Granny was born in Bellwood, West Virginia on May 7, 1943. She is survived by daughter Angelia Rogers; son Thomy Eaton; sister Lena Webb; brother George (Theresa) Maynard; daughter-in-law Jocelyn Eaton, Inga (Phillip) Howard; grandson Brian (Pamela) Eaton; grandson Jason Washburn (Megan Miller); her granddaughters Judith Dewitt, Shi'ni'ra Mathews(Chris), Shani' Eaton (JD Miller); great grandchildren Balie Washburn, Jayden Ramsey, Aeris Eaton, Jayda Garcia, Sarin Mathews, Benjamin Mathews, lots of nieces and nephews; and many other friends that she considered her family, including some of her closest friends Mary (Chuck) Roper and her bestest bestest friend of many years Carol (Ernie and Little Carol) Graves.
Reba is preceded in death by her father and mother Thomas and Helen Maynard; her husband Lawrence C. Eaton Sr.; son Lawrence C. Eaton Jr.; and two sisters Herma Adkins and Mona Maynard.
Rebecca enjoyed traveling to visit her friends and family in West Virginia, attending various country music concerts. A few of her favorite artists and bands include Elvis Presley, Kentucky Headhunters, Blue Country, Ronnie McDowell, Blake Shelton, Trisha Yearwood, and Reba McEntire. Reba loved to be out in nature and also enjoyed scooter pootin' around town.
A visitation at Carolina Memorial Funeral Home for Rebecca will be held Sunday, June 11, 2023 from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM. A graveside service at Beaufort National Cemetery will occur Monday, June 12, 2023 at 1:00 PM. A burial at Beaufort National Cemetery will occur Monday, June 12, 2023.
