Patricia "Patty" Lane

Patty was married for 66 years to her beloved husband, Paul E. Lane. She was a devoted housewife and mother to five boys, always there for her family offering love and support. She loved people and socializing brought her much enjoyment. She was a longtime member of Midland Park United Methodist Church, and enjoyed singing in the choir. She attended faithfully as long as she was able. During her lifetime she wore many hats which included telephone operator, substitute teacher, and family "photographer".

Patty is survived by her sons Wendell Lane (Roxane), Tim Lane ( Gwen), Tony Lane (Kymberly), and Ken Lane. Grandchildren Seth Lane, Dalton Lane, Ethan Lane, and Paige Hines ( Ryan). Great Grandchildren Palmer Hines and Annalise Lane. Siblings JoAnne Fontenot, Claude Davis, and Sister- In- Law Willette Mallard (Charles).

Patty was preceded in death by son Paul Jr. and husband Paul Sr.. Her mother and father as well as her siblings Tommy Davis, Roy Davis, Billy Davis, Virginia Doiron, Arzella Arceneaux, Yvonne Coppels, Geraldine Connor, and Brother- In- Law Charles Mallard.

A visitation will be held from 3:00 PM until 5:00 PM on Saturday, October 5th, 2024 at Carolina Memorial Funeral Home located at 7113 Rivers Avenue, North Charleston, SC 29406. Patty's life well celebrated service will be held at 12 noon on Sunday, October 6th, 2024 at the funeral home chapel. Burial will follow at the Carolina Memorial Gardens.
