She passed away in her home in Hanahan, SC, on October 18, 2021.
She is survived by her husband of 57 years Jerry Boyd Hatcher, Sr. and their 3 children. Lisa Denean (Hatcher) Tuten, her husband James E. Tuten, their 2 adult children, Matthew and Cassandra, and 2 grandchildren, William and Melody. Jerry Boyd Hatcher, Jr. and his wife Melissa (Gaudreault) Hatcher and their 2 children Alezia and Annika. Shannon Leigh (Hatcher) Owens and her husband Christopher Owens, her 2 adult children, Jennifer and Kyle and her grandchild Noah. She is also survived by her 2 brothers, Carlton Brown and David Brown and predeceased by her sister Nancy Brown.
A Visitation will be held Tuesday October 26, 2021 from 1:00 pm to 2:00 pm at Carolina Memorial Funerals & Cremation, 7113 Rivers Ave., North Charleston, SC 29406. A Celebration of Life will follow from 2:00 pm to 3:00 pm with burial to follow at Carolina Memorial Gardens.
