Janice D Johnson

Janice was a devoted wife, mother, "Nanny", and great "Nanny". Janice was the wise matriarch and loving protector of her family. Janice possessed a heart of gold and would give her very last to help anyone in need. Janice made herself available day or night to be an ear, hold a hand, or give expert motherly advice. In addition to being the glue of the family, Janice was instrumental in building and managing a successful home improvement business alongside her husband/business partner. In 2010, Janice accepted Jesus Christ as her Lord and Savior at My Father's House, parrishoned by Pastor Grady Hendrix.

Janice was preceded in death by her parents, Theodore and Hilda Howard; her brother Jerry Howard; her sister Trudy Smith; her nephews Adam Howard, and Lil Jerry Howard, and great grandson Carson Lacy.

Survivors include her husband of 52 years Wylie Johnson; daughters Donna Owen (Terry) and Sheila Williams (Andre) grandchildren Taylor Lacy (Bobby), Kyle Johnson, Jordan Jordan (Dakota), Bailey Owen, Lexi Williams, Braden Owen, and Dominique Williams. Janice leaves behind eight (8) great grandchildren and loving friend Jerry Rose.

Janice was loved by many and will forever be remembered by her family and friends. Janice's last wish was to have a private intimate viewing with immediate family followed by a cremation.
