Mr. James Randall Gordon Sr.

James Randall Gordon Sr. (“Jim”), 82, of North Charleston, SC, entered into Eternal Rest on Sunday, May 14, 2017. A funeral service in his honor will be held on Thursday, May 18, 2017, 4:00pm in the chapel of Carolina Memorial Funeral Home. The family will receive friends on Wednesday evening from 6-8pm at the funeral home. Jim was preceded in death by his parents, William and Mary Gordon, and his wife, Barbara Gordon. Left behind to cherish his memory is his loving family; daughter, Nesha Gordon Conlon (Michael) and son, James Randall Gordon Jr. (Lauren); grandchildren, Brittany, Lauren, Ashley, Michaela, Braden, Allison, Danielle, and Jackson; and a brother, William (“Bill”) Vincent Gordon Jr; and nieces and nephews, William (“Vince”) Vincent Gordon III (Darlene) and Kathy Gordon Maley. Jim worked as a Flight Engineer in the Air Force and worked in the Charleston Shipyard. He also worked as a code enforcement officer for the city of North Charleston. He was a member of the North Charleston Exchange Club for many years. He will always be known as an amazing father, grandfather, and brother. Arrangements are entrusted to Carolina Memorial Park, Funerals, and Cremations.
