A wake for Shaydee will be held Saturday, January 28, 2023 at 10:00 AM at Poundmaker Band Hall, Poundmaker Cree Nation. A funeral service will occur Monday, January 30, 2023 at 11:00 AM at Poundmaker Band Hall.
Shaydee is survived by her parents Ursula Baptiste, Schuyler Simaganis. Siblings; Decklen Simaganis, Deleno Simaganis, Zylen Baptiste and Tess Baptiste. Grandparents Leslie and Geraldine Baptiste, Anita Simaganis, Cecil Weekusk. Special auntie Lily Deranger and uncle Hip Deranger
Predeceased by her chapans; Earl and Bernice Simaganis, Pearl Baptiste, James Kasokeo, Doris Bull and Ivan Dressyman. Her mooshums; Daryll Semaganis, Murray, Gary, Henry Baptiste, Martin Bull and Jamie Kasokeo. Her Kokums; Darlene, Rosemarie and Shirley Baptiste. Auntie Krysten Bull. Shaydee will be laid to rest in Little Pine Cemetery, Little Pine First Nation.
Serving as pallbearers are Dayton Bull, Hip Deranger, Nikona Deranger-Skanie, Dre Baptiste, Stryker Baptiste, Alivia Paul, Zoe Favel, Shayden Antoine and Cale Checkosis.
