Vicki was born on August 22nd,1950 in Winfield KS to Charles and Terese Miller. She was raised in Howard KS where she graduated from High School and later went on to attend Pittsburg State University.
On August 16th,1968 she married the love of her life, Stanley Burdett. She was 17 and he was 20...and they went on to enjoy a wonderful 54 years together.
In 1980, Vicki and Stan moved to Caldwell, Ks. This was home to the couple for over 30 years and was where they raised their two daughters- Nicole and Melissa.
With Vicki's love for children and having the patience of an angel, she started a home day care. You would often hear Vicki referring to her babysitting kids as her "kiddos", long after they graduated from school. They were extremely special to her. She eventually went on to be the High School Secretary at Caldwell Public Schools, where she developed and created so many wonderful friendships.
Vicki was an avid music lover, enjoying all genres of music and artists. She was a beautiful singer herself, often singing at weddings and other events throughout her younger years. She also loved her trips to the casino with Stan and friends. The stories and memories from those special trips would always bring a smile to Vicki’s face.
After retirement, Vicki and Stan moved to Norman, OK where they enjoyed the retired life and spending more time watching their five grandchildren in all their various sports and school activities.
Those close to Vicki couldn’t help but love her quick wit and infectious smile. She had such a kind and compassionate spirit and will be missed by many friends and family.
Vicki was preceded in death by her Father, Charles Miller and her Mother, Terese Miller.
She is survived by her Husband Stanley Burdett, daughter Nicole Arnott and husband Mike Arnott, daughter Melissa Parks and husband Frankie Parks, grandchildren Cass Arnott, Dylan Arnott, Keeley Parks, Mikayla Parks, and Yasmine Parks.
