Preceded in death by her husband, Captain Pat Patterson (Oklahoma City Fire Department) in 1979.
Loving mother of Patrick (Shawn) Patterson and Michelle Patterson; sister of Laura Stalcup; proud “Mimi” to Justin (Autumn) Deason, Elizabeth Lefler, Katherine Lefler, and Emily Patterson; devoted great-grandmother to Scarlet Patterson, Jaxon Deason, Aubrey Deason, and Aboss Deason; also survived by many nieces and nephews.
Sarah was born in the home, 3006 NW 22nd, Oklahoma City, OK, on August 22, 1935, the ninth of fourteen children born to Joseph Ignacio and Sarah Alice Ortiz.
Known for her spunky energy she will be missed by all who knew her.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Bethel Baptist Church, Norman, OK.
Services will be held Monday, July 11, at 10:00 a.m. at Primrose Funeral Home, 1109 N. Porter, Norman, OK.
