Raymond "Ray" Charles Kirk

Ray was born on December 12, 1956 to Raymond Alexander and Ruthalene Kusch Kirk in Fairview, OK.

Ray was part of the Fairview High School graduating Class of 1976. After high school, Ray attended High Plains Technology Center in Woodward, OK where he completed his LPN Degree. Then he took a position at Western State Hospital in Fort Supply, OK. On Feb 27, 1984, he moved to Norman, OK to work at Griffin Memorial Hospital. From which he retired on March 1, 2022 after 38 years of service.

In Ray’s free time, his greatest joy was going to Estate Sales then "Wheeling and Dealing” on his Facebook Page to resale some of his great finds. Ray loved to watch OU Football Games, the Dallas Cowboys, and the OKC Thunder Basketball team. He loved spending time with friends and family. He loved to travel. Ray’s last trip to Lake City, Colorado with two great friends was in July.

Ray was preceded in death by his father and mother, Raymond Alexander and Ruthalene Kusch Kirk; sisters Kaye Potts, Nelda Huhman, and Patsy Kirk; and brothers Jerry Kirk and Danny Kirk.

Those left to cherish Ray’s memory are his brother Bob Kirk and wife Rhonda of Lahoma, OK; sisters Thelma Weber and husband JC of Canton, OK; and Francis Malone of Texas; and a host of friends and extended family.

Ray was an incredibly sweet, kind, loving son, brother, uncle, cousin, and friend to all during his life.

He will be forever missed.

A public viewing for Ray will be held Saturday, October 14, 2023 from 12:00 PM to 5:00 PM at Primrose Funeral Service, 1109 North Porter Ave, Norman, OK 73071. A funeral service will occur Monday, October 16, 2023 from 10:00 AM at Primrose Funeral Service. Interment will follow at 2PM at Fairview Cemetery, US-60, Fairview, OK, 73737.
