Paul Ervin O’Neal, age 64, of Lexington, OK passed away Monday, June 6, 2022. He is survived by his children, Jesse Paul O’Neal & Quanah Paul O’Neal; Estranged wife, Julie Dianne O’Neal; Mother, Dorothy Lee O’Neal; Sister, Kathleen Roberta Wood (O’Neal); Brother, Phillip Lee O’Neal; Nephew, Robert Nicholas O’Neal; Uncles, Jack McHughes & James McHughes; and numerous cousins. Preceding him in death was his father, Robert Lawrence O’Neal; and his grandparents, Wilma & Wallace O’Neal, and Willis & John Ervin McHughes.
Paul grew up in the Norman and Noble area and graduated from Noble High School. He worked on water wells, did some roughnecking in the oil industry, and primarily spent his life as an independent truck driver. Anyone that truly knew him, knew he had a big heart. He’d give you anything he had to give. We take comfort in knowing that prior to his passing Paul accepted, and is now with, our Lord and savior Jesus Christ in heaven.
A viewing will be held at Primrose Funeral Home, 1109 N Porter Ave, Norman, OK 73071 on Monday, June 13, 2022 from 4:00 pm to 8:00 pm. A memorial service will be held at Primrose Funeral Home on Tuesday, June 14, 2022 beginning at 2:00 pm with burial directly afterwards at IOOF Cemetery, 1913 N Porter Ave, Norman, OK 73071.
