She was the daughter of MC “Bugs” Hoard and Elouise Hoard
Marguerite was preceded in death by her parents MC Bugs Hoard and Elouise Hoard.
A graduate of the University of Oklahoma, Marguerite spent most of her adult life residing in Norman.
Marguerite is survived by her children, Brent A Belanger and his wife Jimi Belanger, Michael M. Belanger and his fiancé Mindy Udell; Seven grandchildren, Zack Belanger, Madison “Maddie” Belanger, Marshall Belanger, Major Belanger, Tanner Belanger, Reily Belanger and Spencer Belanger.
Marguerite moved to Norman Oklahoma in 1973. She worked as a real estate agent before beginning her career at GMAC. After retiring from GMAC she worked for several years for Sams Club in Norman. Marguerite loved Norman and was an avid Oklahoma Sooner’s fan. Most important to her were her children and grandchildren whom she loved to brag about to her friends. Some of her favorite things to do, later in life, were attend the school and sporting functions of her grandchildren.
Memorial services will be held on Thursday, March 9, 2017, at 3:00 pm at the Primrose Funeral Service Chapel in Norman Oklahoma.
