John "Jack" Hilton Woodson, Jr.

John Hilton Woodson  Jr. “Jack” (87), born November 24, 1932, went home to be with the Lord August 16, 2020. Jack served his country in the United States Air Force and was a veteran of the Korean War. During his 30 years at Barclay Towers in maintenance, he made sure to keep them on their toes. He was a man who loved his independence and his treats.

Jack was married to his beloved wife, Jane, for 43 years before she preceded him in death; he was also preceded in death by his late wife, Mary. Jack was loved and survived by four children: Doug (Charmin), Ray (Michelle), Darrell (Teresa), Teresa (Larry); with 6 grandchildren: Chris, Steve, Stephanie, Michelle, Matthew, and L.J.; with a host of great-grandchildren. He was also survived by his brothers: Randy and Richard; and step-children, Robin, Trine, and Mary; and extended family and friends.

Services will be at Woodlawn Funeral Home on August 21, 2020, where the family will receive friends from 11am to 12pm, and will hold a funeral service in the chapel at noon, with interment to follow within the Woodlawn Memorial Gardens.
