Cheryl is survived by her loving husband, Robert C. Smith. Left to cherish her memory are her adoring children: Joshua Smith, and wife Tina, and Sherry Smith Dillard, and husband Dill. Her pride and joy were her grandchildren: Christina, Deviyahn, Zachary, Hayden, and AJ. She is also survived by her beloved sister, Pamela Conklin Power, and husband Allen. She will be fondly remembered by a multitude of extended family members and friends.
Cheryl was born on August 18, 1944 in Providence, Rhode Island to the late Blanche Page Kujovsky and late Frank H. Conklin. Cheryl lived a wonderful life in which she enjoyed gardening, admiring hummingbirds, and being surrounded by beautiful flowers. She and Bob were long-time members of the Mid-Atlantic Roadrunners RV Camping Club. Cheryl also had a special place in her heart for the people at Special Persons where she volunteered her time regularly. Cheryl always put others first and truly embodied what it meant to be selfless; she will be deeply missed by all that knew her.
In lieu of flowers, Cheryl would love for donations to be made to St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital (www.stjude.org) or the charitable foundation of your choice.
