Catherine J. Getz

Catherine Getz was born in Whaleyville, Virginia on July 20, 1946 to the late Ellen and Henry Jones. On October 23, 2019 she joined her husband Phillip Getz in heaven. After graduating high school Catherine took pride in being a homemaker and raising her son Brian. She also enjoyed doing crafts, playing cards, and gardening. Left to cherish her memory, son, Brian Getz (Carmela); brothers, Michael and Fred Jones; grandchildren, Brian Getz, Nicole Hunter (Anthony), Michael Getz, and Carmela Mahanor (Matt); great-grandchildren, Madelyn, Maverick, and Millie Mahanor. She is preceded in death by sister, Hattie Mae Osment, and brothers, Carrol, Earl, Billy, and Wayne Jones.
