Ted Davis

He is survived by his children: David (Gloria Dupleix), Ted (Susan Montz), Jerry (Catherine Mire) and Sherry Edwards (Barry). He was the loving grandfather of Kevin, Brent, Jerry Jr., Brian, Danielle, Brayden, Glynis, Brynna, Emmaline and Bowen. He was the proud great grandfather of seven and great-great grandfather of three. He is preceded in death by his parents David and Ruth Bowen Davis and his sister, Dorothy Taus. The family would like to give a special thanks to Doris “Hope” Lee. We will always be grateful for your love, compassion and tender care.

He was a member of the American Legion Post 195 and a proud WWII Combat Medic Veteran. He retired from Shell Chemical after 36 years and went on to give 32 years of service to the St. Charles Recreation Department. Besides being a huge Ohio State fan, he was an unforgettable storyteller, and when you met him, you always left with a smile.

Relatives and friends are invited to attend funeral services at H.C. Alexander Funeral Home, 821 Fourth St. Norco, La, on Monday, April 24, 2017 from 9 AM to 12:30 PM.
