Courtney was one of the sweetest and kind human being that one can meet in a lifetime. Her passing away was a shocking event that is hard to fathom and comprehend. Having seen her the day before made it extremely painful as much as being a blessing. Her sweet smile, cheerful manner and graceful face will never be forgotten. She has never hesitated to help and care. Her good deeds will stay with us forever.

We were so very sorry to hear the heartbreaking and tragic news.  On behalf of the Baylis family, we love you all very much and praying for Grant, the kids, immediate family and all that loved her.  I always loved speaking to her! She was such a great mom and always had the funniest stories to tell.  You could tell her biggest pride was being a loving mom and wife. That is the memory we will all hold on to.  Praying for peace and comfort during this time and the days to come.  Praying for God to carry you all through.  We know Aunt Margaret and Uncle Stanley welcomed her with a warm heavenly embrace.

Cousin Faye and Micky, Laurie and family,                  We are so sad to hear this news of your daughter/grand daughter passing.   Growing up we have such fond and happy memories whenever our families got together which was never often enough!!    We can see from the pictures what a fun loving sweet girl Courtney was.    She will remain alive in your hearts  until you are together again and you will be together again!! I had the pleasure of teaching Remy and Evie on PreK. I taught Remy at SJA and Evie at LPE. Courtney was an amazing mother. She always made sure when Evie came to school she was dressed in a beautiful dress, tights when it was cold and a big bow. She was always there to make sure her kids had whatever they needed. She was so generous when it came to showing the teachers how much she appreciated us. She was awesome


I was shocked to hear of sweet Courtney's passing!  I remember her quite well from classes at SCC. She was beautiful, loving, and so smart! I will continue praying for Grant, her children, and the rest of her family.  

I am so sorry for y’all’s tremendous loss. I always enjoyed my time with Courtney and Evie while doing hair! She was so sweet and funny. My thoughts and prayers are with the family, her husband, & her sweet children. She will always be remembered! 

Everytime I saw Courtney she always gave me a welcoming smile. Always sweet and nice. She had a glow that was undeniable. I always felt welcomed and non judge around her. I'm so sorry for everyones loss. I'm praying for her family and friends.

Grant, words cannot express how deeply I’m sorry for your loss. You and your family have my deepest sympathies and prayers.

So heartbroken to hear of Courtney’s passing. We went to preK thru high school together. Some of my best childhood memories involve our “Brownies” camping trips with Mrs Laurie and Mrs Debbie as our troop leaders. We always had so much fun! In high school, Court sat in front of me during physics and we used to crack up bc she knew the answers to e’thing while I was like “what?!” Haha. Even though we haven’t spoken in years, she will always hold a special place in my heart. Prayers and love for Court’s family and esp Grant and her children. 

I am saddened to hear about Courtney’s passing. We hung out quite a bit in high school but lost touch. I remember how sweet & kind she was . I’m sending prayers to her family during this difficult time.

My heart is broken.  My deepest condolences and sympathy to your entire family.  Courtney was such a sweet girl.  I remember her at a younger age when I took her, along with Dani's kids, driving at the age of 12.  She loved it, and we loved her.  May God comfort each of you and give you supernatural peace, that only He can give.  My prayers will continue. 

I was so  incredibly saddened to hear about Courtney’s passing. Although we hadn’t talked in quite a while, I thought of her often. We shared a love for watching movies and being silly. I’ll never forget watching Interview with a Vampire with her and how into it we both were! I also remember her compassion and warmth. Even though we were just kids, she was always so loving and nurturing. My heart goes out to her children, husband, Ms. Laurie, her dad, sister, brother and other grieving family members. Sending all my love and praying for them during this difficult time.
