It is with heavy hearts that we announce Bill’s passing on March 18th, 2018 at the age of 72. Loving husband to Patricia for 50 years. Sadly missed by his children; Bill (Cheryl) Snyder, Cindy (Allan) Todd. Beloved papa to Kelsey, Nicholas Snyder &, Ryan & Madison Todd, also survived by many brothers and sisters-in-law, nieces and nephews. Bill is predeceased by his parents Allen (1985) & Mary (2016) Snyder and his sister Isabel Clemmer (2016).
Bill worked at Nabisco & in his retirement was a crossing guard at Forestview Public School at Kalar & Rideau road. He enjoyed family gatherings at the cottage, the outdoors, fishing and gardening and especially being involved with his grandchildren’s sports. He was a character full of life & laughter & always had a joke to share.
The family will receive visitors at HETHERINGTON AND DEANS FUNERAL CHAPEL, 5176 Victoria Ave. Niagara Falls on Thursday March 22, from 2-4 and 7-9 pm. Cremation to follow, a graveside interment to take place at Fairview Cemetery in Niagara Falls on Tuesday March 27th at 11:00am. Anyone who wishes to attend is asked to meet at the cemetery main gates on Stanley Avenue. Donations to St Joseph’s Healthcare Foundation- Firestone Institute would be appreciated.
