Kathleen Mary (Sisson) Green

On Tuesday, May 29, 2018, Kathleen passed away peacefully at Chateau Gardens in Niagara on the Lake at the age of 97, where she has resided since 2003. Predeceased by her husband Harry W. Green, her daughter Carolyn Green, her sister Betty Henderson, her brother Jim Sisson, and nephew David Sisson. Survived by her son Michael and Maigan Delong of Nipigon, brother Stephen Sisson of Haliburton, niece Heather Henderson of Toronto, nephew Ross Sisson of Brampton, and her grandchildren: Amanda Green of Woodstock and Mike Green of Grimsby; as well as nieces: Kathleen Granner and Shirley McLeod and nephew John Henderson.

Kathleen was born in Bowmanville, ON in 1921. In her younger years she worked at CBC Radio in Montreal but resided most of her life in Oakville, Toronto and Niagara Falls as a homemaker. In her later years she spent many hours doing what she really enjoyed which was painting and taking long walks and was an active member of St. John’s Anglican Church.

Family will receive friends at the HETHERINGTON & DEANS FUNERAL CHAPEL; 5176 Victoria Ave. Niagara Falls (905-354-5614) on Saturday, June 2, 2018 from 10 to 11 a.m., with a Funeral Service in the chapel at 11 a.m. Interment at Fairview Cemetery to follow.
