Jean Lew

With hearts full of love, the family of Jean Lew announce her passing on June 13th, 2018 at the age of 85 at Extended Care Unit of the Welland Hospital Site. Back into the loving arms of her late husband Chick Lew (2017) to whom she was married over 60 years. Jean worked many years alongside Chick at their family business, the Jade Garden Restaurant. Beloved mother of Diane Lew (David Shand), Nancy Lew and George Lew (Tammy Andrews). Dearest grandmother of Andrew, Meghan, Jordan, Harrison, and Hope. Survived by a sister in New York City and a brother in China. Jean will be fondly remembered by many nieces, nephews and family members. Jean cherished her family; she took great pride in being a wife, mother and grandmother. Jean was loved by many and will be missed by all who knew her.

Family will receive relatives and friends for Visitation at HETHERINGTON & DEANS FUNERAL CHAPEL, 5176 Victoria Ave. (905-354-5614) on Sunday June 24, 2018 from 11am- 1pm. A Funeral Service will be held in the chapel at 1pm with Interment to follow at Fairview Cemetery. In memory of Jean, donations may be made to Extended Care Unit of the Welland Hospital Site.
