Jimmy passed away courageously with the comfort of MAID after a 2-year battle with Cancer, Congestive Heart Failure and chronic pains. It was his wish to no longer suffer and transition peacefully in his home surrounded by those who loved and cherished him. Predeceased by parents Fred and Nellie Alexander. He will be deeply missed by his Daughter Jessica Duller (Jeremy), Stepmother Evelyn Alexander, Brother Doug Alexander (Wendy), and Step Siblings April Elliot and George Elliot, Nephew DJ Alexander and Heavenly Niece Marie Alexander. He will never be forgotten by lifelong friends and riding buddies; Alec, Kathy, Stacey, John, and Gary. Jimmy was a jack of all trades but mainly worked as a contractor. He loved spending time helping and teaching others, tending to his many plants, and riding his motorcycles. In the last 1½ years of his life, Jim could no longer ride. He missed it a lot but continued to spend his time helping and mentoring those around him. Jim and his daughter’s dog, Tank, shared a unique bond over their mutual love for snacks. Tank always knew who to turn to for an extra treat or two, and Jim never disappointed. Even on his final days, the presence of his favourite little dog brought peace and joy. The love and care Jim showed to Tank and all animals who crossed his path will always be remembered as a testament to his kind and giving nature. The friendship, care and camaraderie of his family and friends meant a great deal to Jim. A heartfelt thank you goes out to the PSW’s, palliative home care nurses and Welland Hospital for the kindness and compassion showed throughout Jim’s battle. As per Jim's request, cremation has taken place. A service will be held on Thursday, July 11th,at 11:00am 2024, at Hetherington and Deans Funeral Chapel 5176 Victoria Ave. Niagara Falls, Ontario followed by an interment at Lundy's Lane cemetery.
