Sheila Ann Carey, 57, of Newton, died Thursday, September 28, 2023, at home after a long illness.
Sheila was born and raised in Dover and was a longtime Sussex County resident. She was a dedicated homemaker who loved animals and enjoyed listening to country music.
Sheila was predeceased by her daughter, Ashley Carey; and her parents, William E. and Jessie (Levens) Dean. She is survived by her husband, Theodore Carey; her brothers, Victor and Matthew Dean; and her sister, Janet Dean.
Services are private under the direction of Smith-McCracken Funeral Home.
