Pamela was born in Albany, CA to the late George and Pauline (Ransburg) Marsh. She obtained her real estate license in the 1970’s and built her own real estate company from the ground up. Pamela was a valued member of the Agway Energy Products for many years prior to retiring in 2004.
Pamela was one of the initial female members of the Newton Rotary Club and served the community as a member of the Fredon First Aid Squad. She enjoyed genealogy research and was extremely proud of her family heritage. She became a member of the General Society of Mayflower Descendants after intensively investigating her family tree. Pamela was an avid animal lover and rescued several Labrador Retrievers that she loved dearly. She was a Sudoku master and expertly solved New York Times crossword puzzles. Pamela enjoyed gardening and was a devoted auto race fan.
Pamela is survived by her husband, Carl F. Lazzaro; her sons, Jeff and John Thurston; 3 grandchildren and 2 great-grandchildren.
Visitation will be held from 3 pm to 6 pm on Sunday, April 21, 2024, at Smith-McCracken Funeral Home, 63 High St, Newton. Funeral Services will be held at 10:30 am on Monday, April 22, 2024, at the funeral home; the interment will follow in Yellow Frame Cemetery, 2 Yellow Frame Rd, Newton, NJ.
