Elaine Rita Loux

Elaine was born June 7, 1927 in Rockaway to the late James and Margaret (Colligan) Gallagher. She retired from N.J. Bell after many years of service. After her retirement she also worked as a nurses aide and a security guard. Elaine loved animals, especially cats and her granddog Riley. She enjoyed working crossword puzzles, playing her piano, watching Wheel of Fortune, Price is Right, and her favorite soaps.

In addition to her parents, Elaine was also predeceased by her husband, Edward. She is survived by her four children, John Loux and James Loux of Andover, Maureen Tierney Hibbard and her husband Arthur of Florida and Michael P. Tierney and his wife Lori of Hackettstown; grandchildren, Stephen Crofcheck of West Orange, Sharyn Sutphen of Florida, and Lisa Hock of Florida; nine great-grandchildren and eight great-great-grandchildren.

All funeral services will be held privately.
