Tommy Roy Luce

Lt. Col (Retired) USAF Tommy Roy Luce of Denver, NC passed away on January 10, 2024 at Abernathy Laurels in Newton, NC. Tommy passed peacefully with his wife Molly by his side after a prolonged battle with Alzheimer’s.

Tommy Luce graduated from Uvalde High School in Uvalde, TX, from Southwest Texas State University in San Marcos, TX and completed a Masters degree in Computer Science from Texas A&M in College Station, TX.

Tommy was the son of Alonzo Roy and Erie Nell (Pill) Cloudt of Uvalde TX. He is survived by his devoted wife Molly Sue (Zuehlke), his children Terry and Janis, Marc and Kristianna, his grandchildren Kelsey and Randy Medders, Chloe, Ashley, Michael, and Annika, and his great grandchildren Emmett and Bowen Medders. He also leaves behind his siblings Sandy, Peggy and Wayne and will be reunited with his brothers Jack and Gary.

His family honored Tommy with an intimate celebration of his life. If it so moves you, in lieu of flowers please send donations to the Alzheimer’s Association in his name.

Tommy lived and died as a devoted husband, father, patriot and citizen. His presence will be sorely missed.
