Margaret Finger Hester, age 79, of Conover, NC, passed away peacefully on Thursday, November 18, 2021 at Carolina Caring in Newton, NC. Born April 18, 1942 in Lincoln County, NC, she was the daughter of the late Grady Finger and Margaret Williams Finger.
She was a loving wife, mother and grandmother. Margaret retired from Catawba Valley Medical Center where she worked as a Registered Nurse in the Operating Room for 25 years.
In addition to her parents, Margaret was preceded in death by a daughter, Shannon Elaine Hester.
Survivors include her husband, Tom Hester; son, David Hester and wife, Michelle; grandchildren, Rachel Hester, Matthew Hester; and numerous cousins, nieces, and nephews.
The Graveside Service will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Wednesday, November, 24, 2021 at Claremont Town Cemetery on East Main Street in Claremont, NC. The family will greet friends and family at the graveside following the service.
