Margaret L Prickett

Margaret Lenora Prickett, age 80 of Sylmar, CA passed away, surrounded by her family on March 29, 2021 at her daughter’s home in Pleasant View Utah. She had battled end stage renal disease and many other comorbid conditions in the last ten years of her life. She chose to go on hospice and end her battles peacefully surrounded by her loved ones at her daughter's home. Margaret was born on April 15, 1940 in Council Bluff, Iowa to Paul and Pauline Prickett. She is survived by her 2 daughters, Sharon Prickett-Jaramillo and Deborah Prickett-Jacques, her son-in-law, Alan Jacques, 3 grandsons, Alan Jacques, Jared Jacques and Adam Jaramillo and great granddaughter, Sophia Jacques. After graduating high school, she enlisted and served in the United States Air Force. After the service, she became one of the early female business owners of a steel manufacturing company in Los Angeles CA. She also was very active and held multiple officer positions in Business and Professional Women’s organization of Southern California. A remembrance gathering for family and friends will be held on May 19, 2021 from 4:00 pm to8:00 pm @ Eternal Valley Memorial Park Newhall California. Her memorial service will be held on May 20, 2021at 10:00 in the morning. Come celebrate her life with family and friends.
