Kyle Scott Latiolais, 24, of Burbank, California, passed away suddenly Monday, December 12, 2022, at 12:45am at his residence. Kyle spent 17 years growing up in Church Point, LA where he attended Church Point Elementary and Middle School, graduating from Homeschool in 2016. He moved with his family to Graniteville, SC in 2017 until 2021 when he relocated to California.
Kyle may have been of a young age at his untimely death; however, he was greatly cherished by those closest to him and touched the lives of countless people with his warm smile, kind heart, and contagiously fun personality.
Kyle became interested in various sports at a young age and specifically grew to enjoy golfing, fishing, and recently began lifting weights. He was a huge New Orleans Saints and LSU Tigers fan and embraced his Cajun heritage. Furthermore, he loved the time he spent with family and friends joining in travels, camping, cooking, and engaging in numerous recreational sports and activities. Kyle was proud of the landscaping work he took part in while employed on Golf Courses in South Carolina, and he was excited to have accepted an offer to continue this work at a California Golf Course prior to his passing.
Kyle’s friends in California whom he was closest to directly prior to his passing state: “He was loved by many… he was hilarious, a team player, and had an adventurous spirit... Kyle had a natural light and energy about him that drew people his way and cared deeply about those around him.”
Kyle is survived by the love of his life, Danielle Lasker (of Santa Clarita, CA); parents, Scotty and Rebekah Latiolais (formerly of Church Point, LA, residing in Graniteville, SC); brother, Hunter Latiolais; maternal grandparents, Luane Clemmer and Noble Dean Clemmer; fraternal grandparents, Leo and Juanita Latiolais. As well as several more loving aunts, uncles, cousins, and numerous friends he had made throughout his life. He was preceded in death by: Uncle Keith Latiolais; Aunt Erica “CA” Higginbotham Latiolais; and Great Granny Mary Tomcany.
Memorial dates will be set for future dates in California, South Carolina, and Louisiana. Kyle's remains will be returned to his family in South Carolina in the near future.
