Elizabeth Fernandez Bocalan

A celebratory mass will be held at 11:30 am, Monday, 7 February 2022 at St. Kateri Tekakwitha Catholic Church in Santa Clarita, California.

Bett was born in Manila to Paz Arnaldo and Benjamin Fernandez on 7 May 1961. She married Bayani on 28 September 1979 in San Agustin Church. She was a full-time mom, who loved to clean and organize and dabbled in tutoring children around her village.

Bett is preceded in death by her father, Benjamin; her mother, Paz; and her brothers, Reynaldo and Ewolfrando.

Bett is survived by her husband Banie; her children, Chudney, Chresta, and Alek; her sister, Revelinda; her son-in-law, Mark; and her beloved grandchildren, Ayrton and Alain.

The family of Bett wishes to extend their sincere thanks to Dr. Ro, Dr. Liker, Dr. Singh, Dr. Tao, and Dr. Protacio; the doctors and nurses at Henry Mayo Hospital, Glendale Adventist Hospital, Glendale Memorial Hospital, and Gibraltar Palliative Care; and all friends and relatives who have served as prayer warriors from day one.

No gifts or flowers are required in Bett’s memory, but the family asks to please keep Bett and her family in your thoughts and prayers. However, if you would wish to contribute to funeral funds, the family would appreciate assistance.
