Betty Lu Dorman

She is survived by her sister, Peggy Legleiter, her 6 children: Connie Eatmon, Donna Graham, Debbie Bowers, Donald Dorman, Joyce Babayan, Judy Gerace, and their respective spouses; plus 19 grandchildren and 14 great grandchildren. Bob and Betty were together for over 60 years.

In her many years of being a wife, mother, grandmother and friend, Betty Dorman left her mark on the lives of the people she met. Her humble beginnings with her parents showed her the meaning of hard work and resilience. Holding a variety of jobs and volunteer work throughout her life, she was active in the PTA, and Girl Scout troops her children attended, while also playing a supportive role in the family business. Over the years, her home became a hub for family gatherings and holiday functions where all were welcome with open arms. Her absence is felt, her presence is missed. Her memory held forever.

A funeral service for Betty will be held Tuesday, December 6, 2022 from 2:00 PM to 3:00 PM at Eternal Valley Memorial Park Mortuary, 23287 North Sierra Hwy, Newhall, CA 91321, followed by a celebration of life from 3:00 PM to 4:00 PM at Knollwood Country Club 12040 Balboa Blvd, Granada Hills, CA 91344.
