JoAnn Fowler

JoAnn Fowler, 92, of Chandler, IN, passed away on Thursday, June 15, 2023, at Deaconess Gateway. She was born February 1, 1931, in Evansville, IN to the late Philiph and Iva (Cobb) Koch. JoAnn was a past member of Zoar United Church of Christ. She owned Klassy Kut Poodle Parlor for over 50 years in Chandler. JoAnn loved to bowl and travel and was an avid St Louis Cardinals fan. She was preceded in death by her parents; and two daughters, Janis Davis and Jyl Rice. JoAnn is survived by her husband of 17 years, Dick Fowler of Chandler; son, James (Debbie) Heuring of Chandler; daughter, Joyce (Don) Fussner of Newburgh; seven grandchildren; and several great and great great grandchildren. Funeral services will be held at 1:00 p.m. on Wednesday, June 21, 2023, at Alexander Newburgh Chapel, officiated by Pastor Brent Easton, with entombment at Oak Hill Cemetery. Friends may visit Wednesday from 10:00 a.m. until service time at the funeral home.
