Her family was blessed with Libby on June 9, 2003. She was a creative, precious little girl that loved fiercely. She was a delight to home school from birth through grade 8. She was a graduate of Boonville High School class of 2021. She made so many friends in high school and was prized by many teachers and coaches.
Libby accepted Jesus Christ as her Lord and Savior at a very young age and attended Eastgate Bible Church. Libby received numerous badges from the “Keepers of the Faith” club. Her favorite badges were cooking and baking. She excelled at baking and her specialty was a lemon cheesecake. In 2013, her family transitioned to Townsend Bible Church where Libby was an active participant in AWANA clubs. Some of her happiest memories were made at Shakamak Bible Camp.
Libby excelled as a four year varsity swimmer and sang in the Boonville High School Choir. She was actively involved in Teen Pact and was a member of the Boonville Varsity Golf Team. Libby was an avid reader and especially enjoyed the “Redwall Series”. She played the piano beautifully and enjoyed it so much. Libby loved to sing and participated in the Evansville Children’s Choir for four years. She treasured driving on country roads with the windows down and the music loud. Libby was happiest when she was with her brothers and sisters no matter what the occasion. She preferred time with her family over anything else. Libby cherished time spent curled up with her dogs; they were healing for her.
Surviving are parents, Dennis and Julie Duncan; siblings, Caleb (Carrie and daughter, Corinne), Joshua, Grace, Noah and Jessica; grandparents, Bob and Ellen Costner; aunts and uncles, Randy and Jennifer Housman, Steve and Jodi Duncan, Rob and Heather Duncan, and Andrea Buckner, and many cousins.
