Augustina Margaretha Smit

Margaretha was a member of Newburgh Presbyterian Church.

She loved cooking, gardening, and traveling.

Margaretha was preceded in death by her husband of 54 years, Benny Edward Smit.

She is survived by her daughter, Peggy Delzell of Indianola, IA, son, Ery Smit of Las Vegas, NV; daughter, Monica Smit of Grand Ledge, MI; two grandsons, Nathan and Heath Delzell; one great-granddaughter, Sky Delzell; cousin, Hannie Stalknegt of Los Angeles, CA; brother, Rudy Soedira of Netherlands; sisters, Martha Toorop of Netherlands, Jeanette Waccary of Los Angeles, CA, Francisca Martindale of England, Truus VanDomburg of Netherlands, Marijke Haan of Netherlands; and numerous nieces and nephews.

Services will be 11:00 AM Tuesday, November 23, 2010, at Newburgh Presbyterian Church, officiated by Rev. Kathleen Fox.
