Lucy was also predeceased by her parents Salvatore and Rita Bondi and Joseph Margolies a beloved companion for twenty-two years. Lucy is survived by her
Sister Rita Ann Gilfedder, brother-in-law Joseph Gilfedder, nephew Shawn Gilfedder and niece Theresa Hart.
Lucy is also survived by many cousins who will miss her dearly.
Lucy was born in the Bronx, New York in October 19, 1941. She was a graduate of Good Counsel College. Lucy went on to be a valued assistant in her husband George's law firm. Lucy was very active in a variety of charities. Among them Coalition for the Homeless, City Harvest and The Actors Fund of America. Lucy was very active in the Murray Hill community so much that she was designated Mayor of Park Avenue by then Mayor Rudy Giuliani.
Lucy has a life that was full of rewarding experiences. She was a passionate world traveler and set foot in all seven continents. She rose from the streets of the Bronx to a Park Avenue condo.
As Lucy's health failed she was nurtured by a dedicated staff of home health aides. The family wants to express their heartfelt thanks to Kathleen McHugh, Kerrie McHugh,
Rose Sheehan and Jessica Lance for their dedication to Lucy during her final days.
Visitation from 9-10:30a.m. Will be held at Frank E. Campbell Funeral Home 1076 Madison Avenue at 81st. Street on Friday October 18, 2024. A mass in her honor will be held
At Our Saviour Church on 59th Park Avenue immediately upon the conclusion of the funeral home services. Donations in Lucy's name can be made to any of the above listed charities.
