Where ever you are I know you are watching and protecting us. Everyday that passes I miss you more because ever since that day that you had to part from us it has not been the same.  I always remeber your beautiful smile and your positive energy and I hope that where you are right now you are happy and at peace. We miss you and will always have you present in our hearts!!! My beloved mother and I. I truly miss her words can’t explain the hurt and pain I have endured this past year. Until we meet again. I love you mami querida mi reina por forever. 

We had so much fun together. I miss you, mami. I can’t believe it’s been a year without you. 

I met ‘mami’ on the phone. Carmen, mami, Mary, my daughter and I were planning to go on a road trip earlier this year but I think mami had to travel and we postponed the trip. She called me ‘Patrisia.’ Every time I would be talking to Carmen I’d say tell mami hi for me. Then ‘mami’ would say tell Patrisia hi. Carmen would say Oh ‘em gee…her name is not Patrisia. But I loved it, it made me smile and now that is my memory and our thing that I’d hold dear. She was caring and anytime I needed a second opinion on what to do when my daughter had something going on I’d say Carmen ask Mami…..
Carmen and Mary, I know you have each other but I’m here when you need to talk or just cry 💕
