Tip Eldridge

Tip Eldridge age 79 of Tazewell, TN was born February 21, 1936 and passed away October 3, 2015 at Park West Hospital in Knoxville, TN. He attended Chittum Chapel Baptist Church. He graduated from Claiborne County High School in 1957. He worked for Powell Valley Electric for 22 years, Veteran of US Army . He was preceded in death by his parents John and Mary Daniels Eldridge; brothers John W. (Jay), Roe & Doyle Eldridge; sisters Maggie Yeary and Ruth Goins.

He is survived by his loving wife of 55 years: Elizabeth Rowland Eldridge of Tazewell, TN

Son: James (Cindy) Rowland of Clarksville, TN

Grandchildren: Elizabeth & Austin Rowland

Sister: Pauline Ferguson

Nephews: Kenny Rowland , Robert E. Rowland, James, Kestel, Willard, Rick & Clay and Steve Eldridge.

Niece: Vickie Johnson Poynter and Anna Eldridge (Austin)

The family will receive friends from 1 until 3 p.m. Tuesday October 6, 2015 at Coffey Funeral Home in Tazewell with funeral service to follow at 3 P.M. Tuesday in the Coffey Funeral Home Chapel. Burial in the Irish Memorial Garden with Military Honors.
