Ruben L West

Ruben was an avid outdoorsman; he loved to hunt and fish. During his lifetime he was a hard worker, but was very fond of the management position. Ruben was one of those individuals born with a heart of gold, if someone needed help he would do his best to find a way. He was a loving husband, father, brother, grandfather, and friend. He will be greatly missed by all who knew him.

He is preceded in death by his parents Robert and Della Mae West, several brothers and sisters, and daughter Christina West.

Ruben is survived by his wife of 52 years Edna West. Daughter Barbara Collins. Sisters Jane and Mary. Brother Johnny. Several grandchildren and great grandchildren. As well as a host of nieces, nephews, other family and friends.

The family will receive friends on Tuesday December 17, 2024 from 5 until 8 PM at Coffey Funeral Home. The funeral service will be Wednesday December 18, 2024 at 1 PM in the Coffey Funeral Home chapel. A graveside service will follow in the West Family Cemetery.
