Mary Linda Heaton

Linda was a loving and dedicated nurse for 38 years. She was saved at an early age at Lone Mountain Church and was originally a member of Sugar Grove Church at Bear Creek. She later moved her membership to Straight Creek Baptist Church. Linda was a loving wife, mother and grandmother; she will be dearly missed by all who knew her.

She is preceded in death by her parents Frank and Lura Brown, sister JoAnn of Colorado, brothers Ralph of Indiana, and Ed of Knoxville.

Linda is survived by her husband of 53 years James Heaton. Daughters Susan (Steve) Cunningham and Lori (Tony) Winkler. Grandchildren Rebekah Cunningham and Justin Winkler. Special sisters-in-law Alma Heaton of Harrogate and Sandy Martin of Middlesboro, KY. Special first cousin, who was like a sister, Edna McAfee. As well as nieces, nephews, other family, and friends.

The family will receive friends Tuesday July 2, 2024 from 7 until 9 PM at Coffey Funeral Home. The funeral service will be Wednesday July 3, 2024 at 2 PM in the Coffey Funeral Home chapel. A graveside service will follow in Irish Memorial Gardens.
