James Gibson

James Anvil Gibson age 93 of Tazewell, TN was born April 24, 1926 and passed away November 15, 2019 at the Claiborne County Medical Center. He was preceded in death by his Mother Ollie (Smith) Gibson; Father, James B. Gibson; Sisters, Bennie May Gibson, Hattie (Gibson) Mayes of Middlesboro, KY, Edith (Gibson) Phillips of Monroe, Mi, Eurekha (Gibson) Sellers of Knoxville, TN; Son, James Milton Gibson.

He is survived by his wife: Ruby Helen (Lester) Gibson;

Children: John David Gibson, Judy Lynn Gibson, Mary Margaret (Gibson) Butler; 11 Grandchildren; 21 great Grandchildren; 4 great great Grandchildren; and a host of other relatives and friends.

The family will receive friends from 11:00 A.M. until 1:00 P.M. Tuesday November 19, 2019 and funeral service to follow at 1:00 P.M. Tuesday in the Coffey Funeral Home Chapel. Burial in the Fairview Cemetery. Ministers: Rev. Larry Runions and Rev. Steve Ousley.
