Eli Ford

Eli Ford, age 82, of Tazewell, Tennessee was born January 29, 1940 and passed away on Sunday, December 11, 2022 at Parkwest Hospital. Eli was a member of Neal's Chapel Church. He retired from Claiborne County Nursing Home after 30 plus years. He was a man of many talents. He could make the keys on a piano talk and play the harmonica with grace. He enjoyed playing the piano and singing to the residents. He was a great cook and most of all he loved God.

He was preceded in death by his parents, James Henry Ford and Katie Elizabeth Evans Ford; brothers, Kenneth Tipton Ford, Ben Henry Ford, Herbert Ford, Rev. John Earl Ford, William (Bill) Ford, Rev. Beverly Jo (Pete) Ford and his sisters: Nina and Nona Ford, Hazel Ford, Ann Ford, Josie Deadrick, Carrie Geter and Minnie Robinson.

He is survived by his daughter: Jacqueline Denise Ford of Chattanooga, TN and Leslie Nechelle Ford of Tazewell,TN; a loving and devoted Son: John Ford; one Daughter: Kristina Ford; one sister and brother-in-law, Bertha and Pete Cloud of Morristown,TN; two granddaughters and one Grandson; three great granddaughters and one great grandson, and one great-great grandson and a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.

Visitation for Eli will be held Friday, December 16, 2022 from 12:00 PM to 2:00 PM. with funeral service Friday, December 16, 2022 at 2:00 PM. Graveside service Friday, December 16, 2022 to follow the funeral service in the Irish Memorial Garden.
