Douglas Wayne Slusher age 68 of New Tazewell, TN was born January 28, 1949 and passed away January 31, 2017 at Claiborne County Medical Center. He retired from the U.S. Army. He learned to love Jesus from his Pastor Mike at The Assembly of God Church. Douglas also loved visiting family. He is preceded in death by his mother Malvie J Slusher, father Floyd Slusher and sister Jean Ellen.
He is survived by his wife of forty-five years Brenda Slusher.

The family will receive friends Saturday February 4th from 10 AM until 11 AM at Coffey Funeral Home with funeral to follow at 11 AM in the Coffey Funeral Home chapel.
