He was preceded in death by his Parents Davey and Fannie Dalton; Brothers : Jack, Wearth, Cliff, Coy, Virgil, Leo, Fred and Lewis Dalton; Sisters, Cleo Atkins and Bobbie Owens . He was a member of Providence Missionary Baptist Church in Hancock County.

He is survived by his Daughters and Son-in-law Kimberly and Daniel Ward of the home
