Hootie was a member and deacon of Glory Bound Non-Denominational Worship Center. He loved to work on a farm, and with small engines. He was never seen without a cup of coffee in his hands.
He is preceded in death by his parents Curtis and Sarah Hardin. Sister Lori (Ralph) Viers. Grandparents Irvin and Clara Sollars. Special dad Rev. Don Noah. Special brother Rev. Benny Turner. Special mother-in-law Grace Viers.
Hootie is survived by his wife of 20 years Angelisa Hardin. His children Sarah (Austin), Amy (Kris), and Chris. Grandson Axil. Brother Daniel (Tina) Smith. Uncles John (Terri) Sollars, Lester Sollars, Kenny Sollars, and Larry (Lora) Sollars. Nephews Brian and Nathan. Special adopted mother Vivian Gray. Special adopted brothers and sisters Rodney (Lori) Miller, Chad (Kim) Long, and Thomas Roark. A host of special nieces and nephews Shaylee, Aubree, Haylee Widner, Ava Daniels, Maddison Smith, Faith, Sierra, Emily, Ashle, Elissa, Joey Smith, Nicio, and Jeremiah. Great nieces and nephews Aria, Rafe, Linnea, Chloe Jane, Noah and Clark. His cats Skeeter and Hannah as well as his beloved mini pig Ms. Wilma.
Graveside services will be held Friday, June 28th, 2024 at 5:00 P.M. at Fairview Cemetery. Please meet at the cemetery.
In lieu of flowers the family requests donations to help with funeral expenses.
