Charles C.A. A. Williams

Charles Akles Williams age 71 of Tazewell, passed away April 30, 2014 at his home with family. C.A. was born on July 10, 1942 in Middlesboro, KY, son of Gano and Allie Williams. He professed his faith in Christ 47 years ago. He was preceded in death by his parents, Gano and Allie Williams; son, Charles A. Williams, JR; brother, James Emmitt Williams and wife Kathleen M. Williams. He served with the Army’s 8th Infantry Divison from 1961 until 1967 in Hanau, Germany. He was a member of Teamsters Local 614 Car Haulers, during which time he was employed by Leaseway for 36 years from which he retired.

Crystal Williams of Tazewell, TN

Grandchildren: Joshua, Jonathan, Brittany, Natasha, Kayley, Rachel, Chelsea, Courtney, Reanna and Chase

Great-Grandchildren: Raylyn, Haylen, Braeden, Ella Grace, Kinsley and Zoe Jane

Mother of his Children: Barbara J. “Bobbie” Williams

Brother: Gano Williams, JR

Sisters: Reva Coulder, Gwen Dietrich and Wilma Washburn

Special Friend: Dads Angel, Judy Chadwell-Parker and her daughters: Terri Stansberry and Kelly Galler

Grandkids: Morgan, Dalton and Luke

The family will receive friends from 6 until 9 P.M Saturday May 3, 2014 at Coffey Funeral Home. Funeral service 2:00 P.M. Sunday in the Coffey Funeral Home Chapel. Burial in the Mountain View Cemetery.
