WILLIAM FRANKLIN “FRANK” BOWEN, 79, originally from Huntingtown, Maryland, died peacefully at home on Tuesday, November 12, 2024 after a long illness. He was the beloved husband to Dianne Bowen, cherished father to Lori Jean Ferranti, Father-in-Law to Jim Ferranti and step-father to Eric Acree. He was the proud grandfather to Alex Ferranti, Amanda Ferranti, Jessica Acree, Madelyn Acree and Caroline Acree.
His family and community meant so very much to him. He was a volunteer firefighter in Maryland before moving to Florida and becoming a founding member of the West Pasco Sertoma Club where he was an active member and respected leader committed to giving local children the opportunity to hear. He was a loved and respected friend to many. The family will have a “Celebration of Life” on Saturday, November 30, 2024, from 1:00 pm to 3:00 pm, at Meadowlawn Memorial Gardens on Madison St in New Port Richey. We would like to invite all friends and acquaintances to come join us and share their memories of Frank.
The family has requested that, in lieu of flowers, donations be made to HPH Hospice or West Pasco Sertoma Club.
A memorial service for William will be held Saturday, November 30, 2024 from 1:00 PM to 3:00 PM at Meadowlawn Funeral Home and Memorial Gardens, 4244 Madison Street, New Port Richey, FL 34652.
