Paul, Robert G. (Bob), age 79, died of pulmonary fibrosis on July 5, 2014 at his residence in Weeki Wachee, Florida. He was born in Ellenburg Depot, New York, the son of John and Mildred Paul and moved to Largo, Florida in 1969 with his family where he managed the NAPA auto parts store. He is survived by his wife, Joy of 58 years whom he cherished and loved very much. Daughter; Sonya (Kevin) Curry, Son; Robert G. Jr (Kerry) both of Palatka, Florida. Brother; Richard Paul, Largo, Florida, Grandchildren; Morgan (Chris) Matott, Kelley (Eric) Smith, Chad Paul, Sean Paul, and Jordan Paul. Great Grandchildren; Emma and Chase Matott and Madyson and Kaelyn Smith. He is also survived by two sisters-in-law, Janet (Clarence) Coryea, Plattsburg, New York and Sandra (Ronald) Reynolds, Chateaugay, New York and many nieces and nephews. He was an avid motorcycle rider and still rode his Harley Davidson until a few days before his death. Bob loved the water, boating, golfing, and bluegrass music. He was a member of the Soggy Bottom Bluegrass Group for many years. Bob enjoyed many years of motocross racing with his son, Bobby, and was able to watch his great grandson, Chase, continue the tradition of motocross racing. He loved spending time with his family. The family is planning a celebration of his life later in the year.
