Robert S. Lichter, 65, of New Port Richey, Florida passed away January 7, 2023. He was born in Bridgeport, CT on November 8, 1957. Robert graduated from Central High School in Bridgeport, CT and received his Bachelors in Business Management and a minor in economics from Sacred Heart University. He was married to Sharon Raphael-Lichter on January 2, 1983. Robert worked/ had a career in the Food Service Industry for Splaver's Caterers, Kams, Gold's Deli, and Morrison's Cafeteria. He also worked for Walmart for many years. He was a member of Driftwood Village Homeowners Association and a Director for T.O.S.C.A. Robert was the founder of Sharon's Dog Run at the domestic violence shelter in Pasco County through The Salvation Army. He had a love for animals and volunteered for Cindy's Pets. He gave a lot of his time in the community as well as portraying Santa Claus for many organizations. He was survived by his wife Sharon of 40 years, two beloved dogs Odie and Milo, sister Beverly Lichter, Sister-in-law Melody Gelb (Harold), niece Heather Schaeffer, nephew Jonathan Gleb, great niece and great nephews and many cousins and close friends. A Celebration of life will be held at Meadowlawn Funeral Home & Memorial Gardens at 10am on February 3, 2023 at 4244 Madison St. New Port Richey, FL.
